Telangana SIR Report: 73.39 lakh enumeration forms uncollectable, 2.65 cr digitised, draft electoral roll on August 17

Of these, enumeration forms covering 73,39,234 electors, or 21.70 per cent, were classified as uncollectable.
The uncollectable forms have been categorised as follows:Death: 9,22,230Absent/Untraceable: 11,25,546Permanently shifted: 45,18,961Already enrolled: 6,70,203Others: 1,02,294The largest category among the uncollectable forms is permanently shifted electors, accounting for 45,18,961 cases.
The completion of the enumeration phase now paves the way for the next stages of the SIR process.
The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on October 19, 2026.
The Telangana CEO’s report, therefore, provides the first consolidated picture of the outcome of the enumeration phase, with more than 2.64 crore forms digitised and 73.39 lakh forms classified as uncollectable.
