With a few different series under the same banner so far, Yukito Kishiro finished up the Battle Angel Alita: Mars Chronicle previously, and we’ve had the final compiled volume arrive in Japan. Kishiro confirmed at the time that a sequel series is in the works under a new name that will arrive in 2025. The new iteration is called Battle Angel Alita: Panzer Kunst Chronicle (銃夢機甲術戦記), and it saw a May 5th, 2026, debut on Comic Days with the first visual to the right released. This apocalyptic crucible will produce the solar system’s most fearsome warrior, Alita. The future and past of the battle angel fan out across the reaches of space in the final chapter of one of the greatest sci-fi epics of all time.
