In early 2024, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG)’s General Cigar Co. announced a revamped El Titán de Bronze Redemption line, the start of what ended up being a two-and-a-half-year partnership that saw STG distribute El Titán de Bronze’s brands. Going forward, El Titán de Bronze will once again handle its own distribution. “We are genuinely grateful to General Cigar and to the people who worked on behalf of El Titán de Bronze throughout our time together,” said Giselle Herrera, president of El Titán de Bronze, in a press release. Herrera is referencing non-Cuban Cohiba and Partagas releases that have been made by El Titán de Bronze and sold by STG.
