The legendary NBA coach passed away on August 9th, with tributes pouring in from all over the basketball world. Ultimately, the backlash from trading Doncic, followed by the Mavericks’ poor form, forced Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont to fire Harrison. Even with all these changes, the wound left on the Mavericks’ fanbase from the Doncic trade will take some time to heal.
