From Ndubuisi Orji, AbujaThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said it remains committed to galvanizing young persons to participate actively in the 2027 general election. Recall that recently the Office of the PDP National Youth Leader inaugurated aNational Youth Leadership Consultative Forum for the Survival of Democracy in Nigeria and the PDP Female Youth Wing, as part of efforts to mobilize young persons for the 2027 polls. Therefore, the PDP National Youth Leader stated that opposition party would further use use the Youth Day celebration with the theme: “How Youth Political Participation Will Curb Voter Apathy in Nigeria,” to deepen its mobilization efforts. He said “The 2026 International Youth Day celebration provides an opportunity to showcase the renewed commitment of the Peoples Democratic Party to youth inclusion. “As part of the nationwide celebration, all State Youth Leaders have been mandated to commence activities marking the 2026 International Youth Day in their respective states.
