From Sola Ojo, AbujaThe Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has appealed to aviation unions to suspend their ongoing industrial action and embrace dialogue to resolve the issues affecting flight operations across the country. The NCAA appealed in a statement issued by its Director General of Civil Aviation, Capt. The NCAA assured passengers that flight safety remained uncompromised, stressing that it continued to exercise its statutory safety oversight responsibilities despite the industrial action. He said he’s confident that “the matter will be resolved shortly and normal flight operations will resume as soon as practicable.” The NCAA Boss also regretted the inconvenience the development has caused passengers and appreciated their patience and understanding.
