The ABC has launched video podcasts in its ABC Listen app, allowing users to watch alongside existing audio content. The announcement:ABC listen has today launched video podcasts in the ABC listen app. Nielsen’s 2026 Podcast Listen & Watch Report found that while audio remains the foundation of podcast consumption, with 90% of monthly podcast consumers choosing to listen, 62% also engage by watching. ABC Head of Audio On Demand Jessica Radburn said “Podcast audiences are increasingly moving between listening and watching and ABC listen is evolving with them. To watch video podcasts on ABC listen you will need to be on the latest version of the app, iOS Listen App version 9.34 and Android Listen App version 2026.07.14776.
