The Depot Nigerian Army, Amasiri-Edda, has formally inaugurated the 91 Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI), marking the commencement of basic military training for newly enlisted Nigerian Army recruits. Speaking at the inauguration, the Commandant of the Depot Nigerian Army, Amasiri-Edda, Brigadier General Ahmed Maikudi Ahmadu, urged the recruits to embrace discipline, resilience, loyalty and professionalism throughout their training. Ahmadu said the Depot remained committed to producing highly motivated, disciplined and combat-ready soldiers in line with the professional standards of the Nigerian Army. The high point of the ceremony was the administration of the Oath of Allegiance by the Adjutant, Depot Nigerian Army, Captain Auwal Haladu Buba. Senior officers, instructors and other personnel of the Depot witnessed the formal induction of the recruits into the military training environment.
