Glen Hansard, who won an Oscar for the movie “Once”, has died. His management announced that he died from a motorcycle crash on Wednesday. The man, who they did not name, was treated at the scene but pronounced dead a short time later. Hansard won the Oscar for the song “Falling Slowly” (co-written with Marketa Irglova) from the movie “Once” in 2008. And yes, 56 is young.
