AKRON — Summer Exhibitions will be open during public hours Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. through Sept. 26 at Summit Artspace, 140 E. Market St. Summit Artspace’s Summer Exhibitions opening night will showcase a range of work by local artists throughout the building. “Across Summer Exhibitions, exhibiting artists construct immersive environments that interweave collective history with personal narrative through diverse media,” said Anna Young, director of artist programs and exhibitions. The following summer exhibitions are now on view:• “Prismatic Echoes,” in the Betty and Howard Taylor Main Gallery. Presented by Meaghan Reed, the exhibition layers mixed-media artworks emerging from Reed’s need to grieve and hold memories close.
