Vera Parish, 90, of Parsons, died at 7:15 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the Elmhaven Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 28, 1936 at McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, a daughter of William J. and Evelynn Vera (Hill) Duffy. She grew up in McKees Rocks and attended there, graduating from the Miles Bryant High School at McKees Rocks. She was united in marriage to Richard Burger. Survivors include: Two sons – Richard Burger, Scott Parish, of Arma; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother – William Duffy, of Pompano Beach, Florida.
