ERIE — Cynthia Marie Beachner, 78, of Erie, died Saturday, May 30, 2026 at her home. She was born March 1, 1948 at Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Webster Rice and Lottie Marie Yancey. She grew up in Kansas City and attended school there, graduating from Central High in 1966. In 1991, she returned to Kansas City and worked as an Administrative Assistant at a law firm. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.
