MOUND VALLEY — Dora L. Thompson, 94, of Mound Valley, passed away at 1:40 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Oswego Health and Rehab. Dora Lee Greenwood was born on Jan. 7, 1932, to James and Ida May (Schroder) Greenwood in Parsons, Kansas. Dora was a charter member of the Independent Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son – Kenton Thompson (Dawn) of Altamont; one daughter – Karen Phillips (Calvin) of Parsons; 10 grandchildren – Charity Frey (Peter); Caleb Phillips (Janet); Holly Miksch (Andrew); Melody Kabrey (Kevin); Trey Thompson (Sara); Tyler Thompson (Tara); Tucker Thompson (Maci); Arthur Thompson; Linsey Ackerman (Zack); and Jonathon Thompson; and 19 great-grandchildren. Burial will follow at Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley.
