New Delhi: Vivekananda Kendra, Delhi Branch, launched the 10th season of its flagship youth leadership development programme, “Young India: Know Thyself,” on Sunday at the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi. Briefing the portal about the programme’s journey, Dr Nikhil Yadav, Mentor of “Young India: Know Thyself” andDeputy Head, Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant, said that the initiative began in 2017 when four people came together with the idea of creating a meaningful platform for youth development. Around 3,000 students have participated in one-day workshops, while more than 1,000 students have completed the five-day residential programme. “Young India: Know Thyself” is designed as a leadership development initiative that encourages young people to understand themselves, recognise their strengths, develop leadership qualities and reflect on their responsibilities towards society and the nation. With the launch of its 10th season, Vivekananda Kendra Delhi Branch continues its efforts to engage young people through dialogue, experiential learning, self-discovery and leadership development.
