Turkey Tourism Slips as Croatia Posts Strongest July in Two Years

As Turkey faces softer tourist arrivals, inflation and regional travel disruption, Croatia has delivered its strongest July in two years.
During the first seven months of 2026, Croatia registered 12.4 million arrivals and 59.1 million overnight stays, both approximately 1 percent above the corresponding period of 2025.
The Adriatic remained the heart of Croatian tourism, accounting for 56.1 million overnight stays.
Istria led Croatia’s regions with 16.7 million overnight stays, followed by Split-Dalmatia County with 11.1 million and Kvarner with 9.7 million.
