Malaysia to host 2026 Bahrain Grand PrixMalaysia will stage the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit after Formula 1 and the FIA agreed to relocate the event amid regional challenges. The remainder of the 2026 Formula 1 calendar will remain unchanged. The unusual arrangement means the event will officially be known as the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. Formula 1 said the agreement between the sport, the FIA and the governments of Bahrain and Malaysia would preserve a Grand Prix that otherwise could not have taken place. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said his country was honoured to support Bahrain, Formula 1 and the FIA.
