Sonic the Hedgehog is currently celebrating his 35th anniversary and it seems he'll be racing into Fortnite's new chapter. The official Sonic accounts on YouTube and social media have posted a new video featuring Sonic and what appears to be the Fortnite character Peely, while showing off a new zone in the popular battle royale title. "Sonic the Hedgehog: This new “Fortnite” Zone feels oddly familiar…"This new Fortnite Zone will apparently be dropping on 20th August 2026. Multiple other video game collabs are also reportedly taking place this season. This announcement follows the Sonic Team boss recently mentioning how more surprises for Sonic's anniversary were on the way.
