(JACK DOBBS / Daily News)Officials are eyeing a Labor Day completion of the first phase of Riverfront Park, a move that will mark the first completion milestone in the multi-year project happening along Barren River. Riverfront Park is a long-in-the-works plan to redevelop a vacant stretch of land along Barren River into a recreation destination. Phase two will occupy roughly one acre and will sit at the back of the main 71-acre lot housing Riverfront Park.
