On Saturday, SDSM’s youth organization, SDMM, accused VMRO-DPMNE of publishing confidential police data from the Strumica Internal Affairs Sector at a press conference. It demanded an urgent investigation and accountability for how, as it pointed out, documents ended up in the hands of ruling party officials. SDSM demanded that the Interior Ministry’s Internal Control Department establish who granted VMRO-DPMNE officials access to official data. VMRO-DPMNE, in its reactions, published specific information about some of the individuals who participated in the incident in Novo Selo. On the other hand, SDSM said among those involved in the Novo Selo attack had been VMRO-DPMNE MP Petar Markov.
