Eurostandard Banka Case: ECHR Sends Official Questions to Government
[]
SkopjeDiem
Regarding the Eurostandard Banka case, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has said it has sent official questions to the Government regarding the case in which the owners of the bank, businessperson Trifun Kostovski and his son, Kosta Kostovski, had their assets frozen during the investigation into the bank’s collapse.
That means the ECHR is starting the first phase following Trifun Kostovski’s application.
Various assets belonging to the father and son were frozen on three occasions.
When they requested that their assets be unfrozen, they received no response from the Criminal Court in Skopje.
The application was submitted in 2023, while the investigation opened at the end of 2020 was still ongoing.
