MPs Ali Ahmeti (DUI), Menduh Thaci (DPA), and Valentina Marchevska (VMRO-DPMNE) did not say a single word in Parliament in the first half of last year, according to the Pratenici.mk (MPs.mk) tool published by the Societas Civilis Institute for Democracy.
Unlike the DUI and DPA leaders, who have been among the most irregular MPs for years, Marchevska attended all 56 sessions.
The tool reveals that 45 out of the total 120 MPs did not register to speak on any topic at all, two-thirds of parliamentarians did not ask an MP question, 36 did not participate in proposing amendments, and 13 did not sign any bill.
The tool shows that the most active MPs in the first half of last year were Bojan Stojanoski of VMRO-DPMNE, Sali Murati of the Movement of Turks, Jovanka Trenchevska of SDSM, Toni Jarevski of VMRO-DPMNE, and Daniela Nikolova of SDSM.
