Billie Jean Ethridge, 88, of Goldthwaite, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2026. Before retiring to Goldthwaite with her husband, Dean Ethridge, Billie lived in Houston, where she taught at Greenwood Village Christian School and later at San Jacinto Christian Academy. In Goldthwaite, Billie remained active in serving others. Billie is survived by her sister, Zona and husband John Rogers; her five children, Mike and spouse Linda McMurry, Jerry Ethridge, Linda Hill, Deborah and spouse Mark Doherty, and Steve and spouse Linda Ethridge; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 10AM at Goldthwaite Church of Christ, Goldthwaite, Texas.
