Winter, age 96 of Luxemburg, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at St. Wendelin’s Catholic Church in Luxemburg. He married LaVerne “Vernie” Schabel on September 11, 1952 at St. Wendelin’s Catholic Church in Luxemburg. Bob was a member of St. Wendelin’s Parish and Men’s Society, St. Augusta American Legion Post 621, St. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaVerne in 2018; daughter, Kathleen “Katie” Gohman; brothers, Allen Winter, Virgil Winter; sisters, Mildred Albers, Janet Fruth, and Marion Koshiol.
