ØZWALD is the indie side project of lead singer and guitarist Jason Wade and Steve Stout of the band Lifehouse and owner of Shabby Road Studios. Between 2019 and 2023, they released eight records, including Garden of the Sun, For Polly Anna, and young suburban minds. Wade and Stout marry longing and whimsy on this number, making the two seem like a perfect match. “This whole damn world has lost its minds,” sings Wade on the chorus. “Waking up in the stream of dreams/ If we’ve got a pocketful of time/ Don’t you want to spend it with me?”
