The traffic pattern along Highway 24 in Buena Vista (BV) will change this fall as students go back to school. A portion of Highway 24 through BV is now designated a school zone. Locals may have already noticed the new “School Zone” signs posted along Highway 24 through town. When the school zone signs are flashing, speeds on the highway change to 25 miles per hour (MPH). “We have a lot of kids using the crosswalks to cross US Highway 24,” said Morgan.
