COTO DE CAZA — A sprawling 21,400-square-foot home with a movie theater and bowling alley in Los Ranchos Estates has sold for $23 million, setting a new record for the area, according to agents. Gaffoglio said the June 25 sale is the highest-priced residential transaction ever recorded on the Multiple Listing Service for Coto de Caza. The 21,433-square-foot compound sits on 5.6 acres in Los Ranchos Estates, a private, equestrian-focused area within the guard-gated community. Before the custom home was built, the 5.6-acre lot sold for $1.5 million, according to Redfin records. Los Ranchos Estates has about 75 properties spread over roughly 355 acres, according to Gaffoglio.
