Ann Stevens has clear goals for satellite company Iceye US: manufacturing the spacecraft in Irvine to monitor threats to national security, natural disasters, coastal erosion and a host of other major effects here on Earth. “Today we are developing our manufacturing capability in Irvine,” Stevens told the Business Journal in a July 28 interview. She aims to “continue to grow the fleet of Iceye satellites.” The company has 60 employees in Irvine with another 30 elsewhere in the U.S.“We are growing as a company,” Stevens said. Stevens joined Iceye U.S. from aerospace and defense company ASRC Federal where she served as chief strategy officer.
