Newport Beach-based Talonvest Capital has arranged $47.7 million in financing for a six-property self-storage portfolio in Texas for The Jenkins Organization and Clark Investment Group. According to Talonvest officials, the permanent loan covers over 600,000 square feet of self-storage properties in Austin, McKinney, Frisco, Houston, and Bee Cave. Officials said a large bank provided the floating-rate, non-recourse loan but did not disclose the lender’s name. Thomas Sherlock, Kim Bishop, Carson Kurland and Lauren Maehler from Talonvest secured the financing. With this transaction, Talonvest officials said its financing volume has exceeded $256 million in the past 30 days.
