It had been a viral Facebook photo of the dog with his muzzle tightly taped that prompted deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to initiate an investigation. After further questioning, Roosa admitted she had been the one who taped Cooper’s muzzle the previous night stating the dog had tried to bite her. Roosa was booked into the Polk County Jail with a bond set at $90,000.
