The results, released Monday, came from two holes collared north of the main Surebet zone. Hole GD-26-414 returned 9.87 grams per tonne gold over 5.00 metres, including a 0.75-metre interval grading 65.65 g/t, and also clipped 2.81 g/t over 4.00 metres in the Surebet zone on its way down. GD-26-420 cut 6.51 g/t gold equivalent over 5.73 metres, including 36.27 g/t over 0.97 metres, and it was that intercept that confirmed the northeastern extension. Golden Gate now measures roughly 1.6 kilometres east-west by 1.5 kilometres north-south and hosts 18 lodes up to 14 metres thick. The company is 44 holes into a 98-hole, fully funded program that is targeting roughly 50,000 metres this season using seven rigs.
