According to Saidi, Banda was a talented individual whose work helped shape Malawi’s media industry during his career. The eulogy highlighted Banda’s contribution to broadcasting and his role in the development of the country’s media landscape. Religious leaders, family members, friends and mourners from the community also gathered at M’banda Village to pay their final respects to the former MBC Director General. The burial at M’banda Village in Chileka marked the final farewell to a man whose career was closely associated with Malawi’s broadcasting industry.
