James Harden’s misdemeanor charge has been dropped by theHarris County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office.
The Athletic has contacted the district attorney’s office for comment and will update this report once more information becomes available.
Over the course of his career, “The Beard” has earned 11 NBA All-Star selections, seven All-NBA Team honors (including six First Team selections), three consecutive scoring titles (2018–2020), and two assist titles (2017, 2023).
He was also named to the prestigious NBA 75th Anniversary Team as one of the 75 greatest players of all time.
Currently, Harden is a free agent, but it is expected to resign with the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason.
