Upstate NY duo Babehoven are releasing their third studio album I See Them, I See Me next month. Their new single, which dropped today, chases a different hue. It's a bouncy folk song that details a game that Babehoven plays on the road. I particularly love the opening verse that goes: "There is life in many places/ Dig a hole, find the traces, there are markings on the stone and now they’re gone/ And when you see them by the grave you read their names, see the dates/ You know they’re gone." I See Them, I See Me is out 9/18 on Double Double Whammy.
