Courtney Clenney’s high-profile Miami killing case ended before trial with a guilty plea, a reduced charge and a six-year prison sentence that gives her credit for the four years she has already spent behind bars. The 30-year-old former OnlyFans model pleaded guilty August 10 to manslaughter with a deadly weapon in the 2022 death of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. That means the six-year sentence should not be read as six additional years beginning with the guilty plea. Clenney never disputed that she caused the fatal injury, but before the plea her attorneys maintained that she acted in self-defense. Even after the guilty plea, her attorneys publicly maintained that they believed she had acted in self-defense.
