He was presented the award by the New Mexico Athletic Directors Association (NMADA) during their summer conference held in Albuquerque. Weiss serves the NMADA as part of the statewide Leadership Training Institute Faculty. “Doug’s tireless commitment to LAMS athletics and his unwavering dedication to LAPS student athletes are invaluable to the department,” said Los Alamos Public Schools Athletic Director Guy Meyer. In addition to being the LAMS Athletic Director, Weiss serves as the LAPS Assistant Athletic Director.
