Two arrested in Goliad County on firearm charge

Lionis Castelnaux Garrido (left) and Yisenia Fabaris Lopez (right) were arrested following a Goliad County traffic stop and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by an illegal alien.
According to the Goliad County Sheriff's Office, both will face local charges before being turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
(Goliad County Sheriff's Department)GOLIAD — Two people were arrested in Goliad County after deputies determined they were in the United States illegally and allegedly found a loaded firearm and several other weapons during a traffic stop, according to the Goliad County Sheriff’s Office.
Garrido and Lopez were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a person unlawfully in the United States.
Both were transported to the Goliad County Jail.
