Aberdeen boss Stephen Robinson has called for some perspective after a loss at Dundee which he insists is a “bump in the road” in his squad rebuild. Robinson fielded eight summer signings in the starting line-up against Dundee. Two summer signings were ruled out of the loss at Dundee due to injury – midfielders Brad Lyons and Connor Ronan. Robinson reckons the absence of Northern Ireland international Lyons, 29, was a key factor in the loss at Dens Park. Aberdeen have an immediate opportunity for redemption against Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup second round at the weekend.
