Police took “no action” after receiving reports David Brown was continuing to drive a taxi before he stood trial for raping a female passenger. Highland Council informed officers in August 2025 that Brown was continuing to drive a taxi, despite his licence being suspended. Months later, in March 2026, video footage was recorded which appears to show the banned taxi driver dropping off passengers at the airport.
