Born and raised in Menlo Park, Shawn graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School Class of 1989. Shawn spent 24 years with Francisco Partners, where he was admired for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and quick sense of humor. He took pride in mentoring young athletes and sharing the fundamentals and life lessons the game had taught him. Above all, Shawn was devoted to his family.
