Could self-driving SEPTA buses be coming to Philly?

Now that Uber Eats delivery robots are crisscrossing Philly streets, could autonomous, self-driving SEPTA buses hit the pavement next? A self-driving bus that began operating in Norway in spring 2026 is apparently one of the world’s first fully-automated, full-sized transit buses in regular service.
