…rejects intimidation of workers ahead of governorship electionBy Sunday Oguntuyi, OsogboThe Joint Labour Movement in Osun State has called for a peaceful, free, transparent and fair governorship election, warning against the intimidation or harassment of workers, pensioners and other residents ahead of Saturday’s poll. “We are here to inform the general public about happenings in Osun State and how we feel about them. “We are sending a clear signal and warning to anyone who intends to intimidate or harass workers, pensioners and the good people of Osun State. No citizen of Osun State should be harassed. “We also appeal to the international community to keep its attention on Osun State, while urging the police to remain neutral and protect all citizens without taking sides,” he stated.
