By Izuchukwu Nwokoma‎‎CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi has assumed duty as the 35th Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command. ‎‎He takes over from AIG Danladi Isa, who has been promoted and redeployed to the Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex, Kaduna. ‎‎CP Afolabi has served in several key command and operational roles, including Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command; Deputy Commissioner of Police, CID, Katsina; and DCP Operations, Bayelsa. ‎‎Prior to his posting to Abia, he was Commissioner of Police, Administration, Training and Development at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. ‎‎The Abia State Police Command called on stakeholders and residents to support the new Commissioner in his efforts to ensure safety and security in the state.
