The claim that the executive chairman of a contractor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement attended the wedding of pop singer Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce is still under investigation. Amentum Services, which Demetriou chairs, has multiple contracts with the U.S. government, including one with ICE to provide services at an immigration detention facility in Texas. We have contacted Amentum, the office of Ohio state Rep. Demetriou Jr. and Swift's reported wedding planner and are waiting for responses. As of this writing, we had not received confirmation that Demetriou attended the wedding. One report in Metro, a U.K.-based newspaper, quoted Demetriou Jr. as telling reporters the wedding was "epic, great and life-changing."
