SEYMOUR – Here are some highlights from the Seymour Police Department’s calls for service from Aug. 3, 2026 through Aug. 9, 2026. 6:01 p.m. Seymour EMS notified police that several traffic signs were down at the intersection of Rimmon and Clinton roads. 12:43 p.m. A Hemlock Road resident told police someone riding a Segway was trying to sell something in the area. 9:09 p.m. A Stoddard Street resident told police someone was shooting fireworks in the area. 7:57 a.m. A Main Street resident told police someone broke into his car and tampered with the ignition.
