There’s some talented players on the Michigan football team’s offensive line. “The offensive line is starting to take shape,” Whittingham said Monday. Over these next few weeks, it’ll be up to Whittingham, offensive coordinator Jason Beck and offensive line coach Jim Harding to form a unit that’ll pave holes for Michigan’s running backs and ensure sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood has time to throw. When assembling an offensive line, Whittingham has one priority that lives above all else. Soon enough, the Wolverines coaching staff won’t just have to choose their best five offensive linemen; they’ll have to create the best unit.
