Many of the owners are Arab millionaires looking to escape the brutal summers there and pay tens of thousands to import their luxury cars to Britain for a few months.
Videos have emerged of sports cars revving their engines and speeding down the capital's most exclusive streets.
In just two days between August 7 and August 9, officers detained 90 luxury vehicles across Hyde Park, Kensington and Chelsea.
Fed-up councils have previously deployed armies of traffic wardens and tow-trucks to tackle luxury supercars left in disabled bays on yellow lines.
The injunction, which was granted at the end of July, bans revving engines and excessive acceleration along with other driving offences.
