Veteran unscripted producer Rachel Tung has renewed her development deal with ABC and Hulu, Variety has learned exclusively. Under the renewed deal, Tung will continue developing original unscripted programming for Disney and serve as showrunner on select projects for ABC and Hulu. Tung, who was formerly a vice president of unscripted at Paramount, developed and served as showrunner & executive producer on the first season of the popular Hulu reality series “Love They Nader.” Tung was also the showrunner and executive producer on the second season of food and travel docuseries “Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi.” Popular on VarietyTung was also responsible for producing hit shows like “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Kitchen Nightmares,” and MTV’s “Deliciousness.”
