Midsummer Scream Announces 2027 Date and New Location! Home is where the haunt is at Midsummer Scream, the annual horror convention that traditionally takes place in Long Beach, California. The 2026 version just wrapped up, and the event has already announced when we can expect next year’s gathering…as well as a new location. Yes, Midsummer Scream is moving, with the 2027 event set to take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California on August 6th-8thAlong with that, the creators have announced that they’ll be staying in Long Beach for next year’s Season’s Screamings, Midsummer Scream’s winter cousin.
