Speaking at a party meeting in Agadir on Sunday, Lekjaa said Morocco’s political debate should focus on practical solutions to the country’s economic and social challenges rather than responding to criticism or political rhetoric. Lekjaa said his decision to join PAM was motivated by a desire to participate in political life rather than seek political office or personal advancement. Lekjaa urged party members to avoid making promises they could not deliver, saying politicians should clearly explain what is achievable in order to restore public confidence in political institutions. He said party activities should extend beyond meeting halls into neighborhoods and remote areas to bring politics closer to citizens. He said his goal within PAM was to contribute to rebuilding public trust in politics through honest service and closer engagement with the public.
