Alabama shoppers are being urged to check their refrigerators as a recall involving fresh jalapeños expands to prepared food products sold across multiple states. Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling several products made with jalapeños supplied by Coast Citrus Distributors because of potential Salmonella contamination. The recall comes as the FDA and CDC investigate a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to fresh jalapeños. Taylor Fresh Foods says it is not currently aware of illnesses linked specifically to its recalled products. Anyone with the recalled Kroger sandwich should not eat it.
